Experimenting

In this lesson we were asked to go out and take 7 pictures. 1 with a narrow depth of field. 1 with a broad depth of field. 2 portrait pictures. And then 3 pictures with a connotation of joy, love and fear.
Here are my 7 photos.

This is a broad depth of field. I chose to do an image down the corridor to show the broad depth of field so that then I could take another with a narrow depth of field and show the differences between the 2 photographs I took down the same corridor.

This is a narrow depth of field. From looking at the broad depth of field you can see the contrasts in the 2 photographs and the out of sink images to show a contrast in the different depths of fields.

These 2 image were taken  portrait. I chose to do 2 images of people to show off the portrait image as it would come across as a better staged image rather than if i had taken it down the corridor because you can see the different sized images compared to the other images I have taken where they were taken landscape.

This is the picture I shown with a connotation of love. I think it represents love as a red rose is something you give to someone you love on valentines day, and the colour red shows love as its the colour of a heart. Also flowers can be given as a gift for someone you love, as they can bring happiness to people.

This is the picture I shown with a connotation of fear. I chose this because this is a common fear somebody could have of heights. Also looking down off a high platform to a lower level may cause fear to someone as they think they're going to fall, so showing a height off a tall platform I associate with a connotation of fear.

This is the image I shown with a connotation of joy. I chose this because some people have hobbies of being fit and healthy and going to the gym. So whilst being in a college having a gym on site may bring joy to someone so that they can go there after there lessons with there friends and keep fit, which is why i associated it with being a connotation of joy. People enjoy going to the gym
